PULSE PULSE POLLEN is a good luck charm. It’s also a game, or maybe a spell. Say it five times fast to clear the fog, cast it off, lift the curse; or just to feel your mouth fold around the shape and sound of it. This body of work is a moment that unfolds in the always almost, stretches through potential and possibility, enters the realm where meaning brushes at the edge of feeling, then slips and dissolves. Here, sense isn’t made but felt—it lives and lingers closer to scent than sentence, circling taste, escaping thought. Conceived as sense-memories, these sculptural paintings lean into a bodily lushness that traces all that exists both atop and beneath the skin. What remains is tender and molten, sultry and silken, thick with a sweetness just about to spill. Part satisfaction, part longing, this series emerges at the threshold where perception flares, suspended between coherence and sensation.
